First post, new blog, middle-aged dude expecting my first child?
Just found out a few days ago, that I'm probably going to be a father for the first time, in my early 40's. As most anybody, I'm nervous and also excited about the possibility. It is still very early, we're guessing about 1.5 months ago it happened. I'm starting this blog to try my best to document the journey. This pregnancy was unexpected, but she and I have been together for several years now, and have been co-parenting her 10-year old nephew since December 2019 due to circumstances out of our control. A new baby will be different, but I like to think we're getting some practice with the 10-year old. He's pretty good kid overall.
